Visits and Educational Programs for Schools
An educational experience combining history, play and culture.
The Toy as a Mirror of Society
Over the years, the Toy and Pinocchio Museum has welcomed more than 50 school classes, offering students an educational experience that brings together history, culture and reflection.
The visit allows students to explore the relationship between children and toys, observing an important collection of objects dating back to the eighteenth century and following their evolution over time.
The toy thus becomes a mirror of society: through materials, shapes and innovations, visitors discover connections with science, civilization and cultural change, as if the real world were transformed into the world of play.
The World of Pinocchio
During the visit dedicated to Pinocchio, young visitors discover his true story, who the characters mentioned in the tale were, the places where it is set, and the events that inspired its author, Carlo Lorenzini, known as Collodi.
A journey that connects literature, territory and cultural identity.
